In a lovely redemptive story arc, Rabbit starts out by stealing Carry's food and is a rude, know-it-all but becomes self-cogitating, repentant, and kind.
The Case of the Weird Blue Craven past Doreen Cronin, illustrated by Kevin Cornell
Kids know it'south non the blue chicken (who is actually a bird, not a chicken!) who is weird but it'southward the chicken team who are downright wacky! In this hazard, these silly chickens are asked to investigate who has stolen the bluish bird's house. And despite the chickens' disability to actually investigate anything, they do discover the culprit and a solution. It'south very funny.
I LOVED the wry humor in this beginning, hilarious chapter book. Information technology pairs two unlikely traveling companions together– a worm and a bird. The bird, Laurence, thinks he'south a flamingo and wants to journey to Lake Nakuru National Park where the other flamingos live. The worm, Marcus, also worrying he'south well-nigh to be breakfast, thinks that Laurence looks like a craven. As they travel "the globe", the two develop an unexpected, lovely friendship.
Stinkbomb and Ketchup-Face and the Badness of Badgers past John Dougherty
Hilarious and weird and very creative! Stinkbomb and his sister, Ketchup-Face up think that the badgers ("BAD" is in their name!) stole Stinkbomb's $xx. They commence on the craziest of adventures to get back the $xx including meeting Male monarch Toothbrush Weasel who they'll help to rid the isle of the badgers. If you like empty-headed stories, this book is for you!
Shivers! The Pirate Who's Afraid of EVERYTHINGby Annabeth Bondor-Rock & Connor White
